Terms and Conditions

1. Contractual Relationship and Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions govern the access and use of the browser extension, the Volume Audio sound processing infrastructure, and the volume.audio website (hereinafter, collectively referred to as the 'Software' or the 'Services'). By installing the extension or using our services, you agree to be legally bound by these clauses. If you do not agree with any part, you must not install or use the software.

2. License Usage Regulation (Freemium and Premium)

Juan Romero Domínguez grants the user a software license subject to the following conditions:

• Personal and Non-transferable Use: The license granted (in both the free "Freemium" and paid "Premium" tiers) is individual, for private, non-commercial use, and non-transferable. Resale, distribution, sublicensing, reverse engineering, or decompilation of the extension is strictly prohibited.
• Freemium Tier: Allows the use of basic volume boost features and standard equalization control on a single device.
• Premium Tier: Provides access to advanced sound tools (Dynamic Engine, Clarity adjustment, No-Stop Mode for YouTube, and professional equalizer presets). Usage is limited to the maximum number of browsers/sessions indicated at the time of purchase and linked to the registered email account.

3. Subscription, Renewal, and Cancellation Policy

Premium Volume Audio licenses function via a monthly or yearly recurring subscription managed automatically:

• Billing Ecosystem: All payment processing, bank data storage, and renewal controls are handled through the secure infrastructure of ExtensionPay (license processor) and Stripe (secure payment gateway).
• Automatic Renewal: Unless cancelled before the end of the current period, the subscription will automatically renew and the corresponding charge for the contracted plan (monthly/yearly) will be processed on the registered card.
• Cancellation Policy: The user may cancel their subscription at any time autonomously through the license management panel provided by ExtensionPay within the extension. Cancellation will stop future automatic renewals, maintaining Premium functionality until the previously paid period expires.

4. Liability Exemption for Technical and Hardware Limitations

Volume Audio runs at the browser level and depends entirely on the technical architecture provided by web browser developers (such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera, etc.). Therefore, it is stipulated that:

The software is provided "as is" and "as available," without express or implied warranties that the resulting audio will not suffer from dropouts or variations, as codecs and web media players are constantly evolving.

Quantitative Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of Juan Romero Domínguez to any user for any damages (including audio hardware damage or hearing issues), claims, or losses arising from the extreme use of volume boost shall be strictly limited, in aggregate, to the total amount actually paid by the user as a subscription fee for this software during the twelve (12) months preceding the cause of action.

5. Applicable Jurisdiction and Law

These terms are governed in their entirety by Spanish law. For the resolution of any controversy, conflict, or judicial claim derived from the use of this software or this portal, the parties expressly submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Spain, waiving any other jurisdiction that might apply.

6. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time due to regulatory changes or product updates. Changes will be published in this section with the last updated date indicated. Continued use of the software following the effective date of changes constitutes your tacit acceptance of the new terms.
