Official Statement of Non-Affiliation

Formal Declaration of Independence

Volume Audio is a completely autonomous and independent acoustic optimization software infrastructure, developed and owned exclusively by Juan Romero Domínguez.

It is expressly and solemnly stated that there is no relationship of affiliation, association, sponsorship, authorization, commercial partnership, or any legal or administrative link between Volume Audio and:

  • Web browsers or their parent companies (Google LLC, Microsoft Corporation, Opera Norway AS).
  • Sound hardware manufacturers (such as Logitech, Razer, Corsair, Bose, etc.).
  • Any other extension, corporation, or commercial entity providing audio control systems or multimedia optimization operating in the web extension market.

1. Justification of Descriptive Terms

The use of common industry terms (such as Volume Boost, Sound Booster or Audio Enhancer) is strictly and exclusively for the functional and technical description of the extension, which operates through the following conceptual features:

Amplification (Volume Boost) Digital gain injection to boost sound beyond operating system limits.
Equalization (Audio Enhancer) Advanced acoustic signal processing via the Web Audio API.
Safety (Active Limiter) Digital distortion and clipping prevention via an active limiter.

The `.audio` domain integrated into our naming and primary domain (volume.audio) reflects the technical design of our tool, which is engineered to process, safeguard, and optimize the user's internet sound experience.

2. Third-Party Trademarks

All third-party trademarks, logos, trade names, and company names mentioned on this website or in our documentation source code are the exclusive property of their respective owners. Their mention in this disclaimer is strictly for informational purposes, software compatibility, and to transparently clarify the absence of any commercial relationship.

3. Nature of the Extension

Volume Audio is not a traditional operating system volume controller. It is an extension that utilizes native browser components to inject gain and equalization directly into the tab's audio thread. Its architecture allows users to amplify volume entirely locally, providing a superior level of acoustic control over media playback on their device.
