Terms and Conditions

Last updated: July 27, 2026

1. Contractual Relationship and Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions regulate the access and use of the browser extension, the Volume Audio processing infrastructure, and the volume.audio website (hereinafter collectively referred to as the 'Software' or the 'Services'). By installing the extension or using our services, you agree to be legally bound by these clauses. If you do not agree with any part, you should not install or use the software.

2. Licence Usage Regulations (Freemium and Premium)

Juan Romero Domínguez grants the user a software license subject to the following conditions:

  • Personal and Non-Transferable Use: The license granted (for both the free "Freemium" and paid "Premium" tiers) is individual, for private, non-commercial use, and is non-transferable. Resale, distribution, sub-licensing, reverse engineering, or decompilation of the extension is strictly prohibited.
  • Freemium Tier: Allows the use of basic volume boost functions and standard EQ control on a single device.
  • Premium Tier: Grants access to advanced sound tools (Dynamic Engine, Clarity adjustment, No-Stop Mode for YouTube, and professional EQ presets). Usage is limited to the maximum number of browsers/sessions indicated at the time of purchase and linked to the registered email account.

3. Subscription, Renewal, and Cancellation Policy

Volume Audio Premium licenses operate through a recurring monthly or yearly subscription managed automatically:

  • Billing Ecosystem: All payment processing, storage of banking data, and renewal control are handled through the secure infrastructure of ExtensionPay (license processor) and Stripe (secure payment gateway).
  • Automatic Renewal: Unless cancelled before the end of the current term, the subscription will automatically renew and the corresponding charge for the contracted plan (monthly/yearly) will be made to the registered card.
  • Cancellation Policy: The user can cancel their subscription at any time autonomously through the license management panel provided by ExtensionPay within the extension. Cancellation will stop future automatic renewals, while maintaining Premium functionality until the previously paid period expires.

4. Limitation of Liability for Technical and Hardware Limitations

Volume Audio runs at the browser level and relies entirely on the technical architecture provided by web browser developers (such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera, etc.). Therefore, it is stipulated that:

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

The user acknowledges that Volume Audio is not responsible for any cessation of functionality, degradation of sound quality, or inability to operate the equalizer due to unilateral changes, security updates, or technical restrictions imposed by Chromium or app stores (e.g., processing restrictions in the Web Audio API in Manifest V3).

The software is provided "as is" and "as available", without express or implied warranties that the resulting audio will not suffer from clipping or fluctuations, as the codecs and web media players of multimedia platforms are constantly evolving.

Quantitative limitation of liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of Juan Romero Domínguez to any user for any damages (including audio hardware damage or hearing issues), claims, or losses derived from the extreme use of volume boost shall be strictly limited, in aggregate, to the total amount actually paid by the user for the subscription to this software during the twelve (12) months prior to the triggering event.

5. Applicable Jurisdiction and Law

These terms are governed in their entirety by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute, conflict, or legal claim derived from the use of this software or this portal, the parties expressly submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Spain, waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them.

6. Amendment of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time due to regulatory changes or product updates. Changes will be posted in this section indicating the last update date. Your continued use of the software after the changes take effect constitutes your tacit acceptance of the new terms.
