Official Non-Affiliation Statement

Formal Declaration of Independence

Volume Audio is an independent software brand and acoustic optimisation infrastructure, developed and owned exclusively by Juan Romero Domínguez.

It is explicitly and solemnly stated that there is no affiliation, association, sponsorship, authorisation, partnership, or any other legal or administrative link between Volume Audio and:

  • Web browsers or their parent companies (Google LLC, Microsoft Corporation, Opera Norway AS).
  • Audio hardware manufacturers (such as Logitech, Razer, Corsair, Bose, etc.).
  • Any other extension, corporation, or commercial entity providing audio control or media optimisation systems operating in the web extension market.

1. Justification of Descriptive Terms

The use of common industry terms (such as Volume Boost, Sound Booster or Audio Enhancer) is strictly and exclusively to describe the functional and technical capabilities of the extension, which operates through the following conceptual features:

Amplification (Volume Boost) Digital gain injection to raise sound levels beyond the operating system limits.
Equalization (Audio Enhancer) Advanced acoustic signal processing via the Web Audio API.
Safety (Active Limiter) Prevention of digital distortion and clipping via an active limiter.

The `.audio` domain integrated into our name and main domain (volume.audio) reflects the technical design of our tool, which is engineered to process, safeguard, and optimise the user's internet sound experience.

2. Third-Party Trademarks

All third-party trademarks, logos, trade names, and company names mentioned on this website or within our source code are the exclusive property of their respective owners. Their inclusion in this disclaimer is strictly for informational purposes, software compatibility, and to provide transparency regarding the absence of any commercial relationship.

3. Nature of the Extension

Volume Audio is not a traditional operating system volume controller. It is an extension that uses native browser components to inject gain and equalization directly into the tab's audio thread. Its architecture allows users to amplify volume locally, providing superior acoustic control over media playback on their device.
