Terms and Conditions
Last updated: July 27, 2026
1. Contractual Relationship and Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions regulate the access and use of the browser extension, the Volume Audio sound processing infrastructure, and the website volume.audio (hereinafter collectively referred to as the 'Software' or 'Services'). By installing the extension or using our services, you agree to be legally bound by these clauses. If you do not agree with any part, you must not install or use the software.
2. License Usage Regulation (Freemium and Premium)
Juan Romero Domínguez grants the user a software usage license subject to the following conditions:
- Personal and Non-Transferable Use: The license granted (both in the "Freemium" free mode and the "Premium" paid mode) is individual, for private use, non-commercial, and non-transferable. Resale, distribution, sublicensing, reverse engineering, or decompilation of the extension is prohibited.
- Freemium Mode: Allows the use of basic volume boost features and standard equalization control on a single device.
- Premium Mode: Grants access to advanced sound tools (Dynamic Engine, Clarity adjustment, No-Stop Mode for YouTube, and professional equalization presets). Its use is limited to the maximum number of browsers/sessions indicated at the time of purchase and associated with the registered email account.
3. Subscription, Renewal, and Cancellation Policy
Volume Audio Premium licenses operate via a recurring monthly or yearly subscription managed automatically:
- Billing Ecosystem: All payment processing, bank data storage, and renewal control are conducted through the secure infrastructure of ExtensionPay (license processor) and Stripe (secure payment gateway).
- Automatic Renewal: Unless canceled before the current period ends, the subscription will automatically renew, and the charge for the contracted plan (monthly/yearly) will be processed on the registered card.
- Cancellation Policy: The user may cancel their subscription at any time autonomously through the license management panel provided by ExtensionPay within the extension. Cancellation will stop future automatic renewals, maintaining Premium functionality until the previously paid period expires.
4. Disclaimer for Technical and Hardware Limitations
Volume Audio runs at the browser level and depends entirely on the technical architecture provided by web browser developers (such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera, etc.). Therefore, it is stipulated that:
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
The user acknowledges that Volume Audio is not responsible for the cessation of functionality, degradation of sound quality, or inability to operate the Equalizer due to unilateral changes, security updates, or technical restrictions imposed by Chromium or app stores (e.g., restrictions on processing in the Web Audio API in Manifest V3).
The software is provided "as is" and "as available," without express or implied warranties that the resulting audio will be free from stuttering or variations, as codecs and web media players on multimedia platforms are constantly evolving.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of Juan Romero Domínguez to any user for any damages (including hardware audio damage or hearing impairment), claims, or losses arising from the extreme use of volume boost shall be strictly limited, in the aggregate, to the total amount actually paid by the user for the subscription to this software during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
5. Applicable Jurisdiction and Law
These terms are governed in their entirety by Spanish law. For the resolution of any controversy, conflict, or judicial claim arising from the use of this software or this portal, the parties expressly submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Spain, waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them.
6. Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time due to regulatory changes or product updates. Changes will be posted in this section indicating the date of the last update. Your continued use of the software after the changes take effect constitutes tacit acceptance of the new terms.
